Hampton is my clear RB1 in this re-rank. He earns it with the perfect blend of talent, volume, and situation. He averages 18.8 touches per game (when you adjust for his injury-shortened contest), ranking third in the class.

He delivers 16.5 PPR points per game, 0.88 points per touch, and an elite 4.03 yards created per touch.

He’s caught 20 of 22 targets, proving he’s a weapon in the passing game. The Chargers boast a young, improving offensive line; Justin Herbert is locked in long-term; and weapons like Ladd McConkey and Oronde Gadsden take pressure off the run game (plus Johnston and possibly Tre Harris).

Positive touchdown regression is coming — he’s due for more scores. Hampton projects as a yearly top-8 fantasy RB for the next six-plus years, with top-3 finishes in his peak seasons. His size and play style should give him solid longevity.

Judkins is the volume king of this class and my RB2. He leads all rookies with 21.6 touches per game, producing 16.4 PPR points per game and 0.76 points per touch.

His 2.81 yards created per touch is low, but the Browns run the ball over 50% of the time in a scheme built for bruisers.

He receives minimal receiving work, but that was never the plan — he’s ‘Nick Chubb-light’ hammer. Dylan Sampson doesn’t threaten his role and takes zero meaningful carries away from him.

Judkins projects as a top-8 fantasy RB for the next 6–8 years, with multiple top-6 seasons largely driven by volume and goal-line work. If Cleveland upgrades at QB, he could lead the league in rushing.

Jeanty remains in the elite tier at RB3 thanks to his youth (21 years-old) and his massive workload.

He sees 18.7 touches per game, but the situation hurts his ceiling: 13.7 PPR points per game, 0.73 points per touch, and 3.38 yards created per touch.

Geno Smith’s turnovers, a battered O-line, and no Bowers make efficiency tough. Being on a 350-touch pace for the year also screams injury risk. Still, his receiving work and college pedigree show his all-around talent that should keep him as a productive back for a long time.

If the Raiders fix their QB play and get a reliable WR2 alongside Bowers, Jeanty spikes hard as a potential yearly RB1 candidate. He carries a top-12 floor with a top-5 ceiling for years to come.

Before injury, Skattebo was a fantasy monster. He’s RB4 here only because we’re drafting today, if we were re-ranking a week earlier it could have been much higher. His pre-injury dominance was unreal.

He averaged 20.7 touches per game, a class-best 19.1 PPR points per game, 0.96 points per touch, and 3.87 yards created per touch.

He seized the alpha role even after Tyrone Tracy returned, piling up targets and end-zone work. His injury pushes his return-to-form play to Year 3 when he’ll be 25 years-old. His age and bruising running style may cap his longevity, but when healthy, Skattebo has proven to be a top-12 RB and the heartbeat of the Giants’ offense. Temper expectations for 2026, but don’t sleep on the beast.

Henderson’s talent isn’t the question — trust is.

He sees just 8.9 touches per game, with 6.5 PPR points per game, 0.74 points per touch, and 3.42 yards created per touch.

Even though Stevenson continues to have persistent fumbling issues this haven’t earned Henderson more work. He’s found himself in a 60/40 split. Even Antonio Gibson’s injury didn’t open the door further for him.  A fumble last week hurt his case further.

Still, Henderson’s talent screams top-12 upside, he’s a true home run hitter. His burst and draft capital (2nd round) mean patience could really pay off. If the Patriots don’t trade for a back (deadline looming), Year 2 could finally unleash him. He’s a flex now with RB2 upside later. The age and talent evaluation lands him in the 5 spot.

Harvey is a second-half breakout waiting to happen.

He averages 8.1 touches per game, 9.9 PPR points per game, a class leading 1.22 points per touch, and 3.72 yards created per touch.

With JK Dobbins fading every year and Denver playoff-bound, Sean Payton could turn to his rookie sooner rather than later.

Harvey projects as a top-10 RB in 2026–27, then a steady RB2 beyond that. Age is the only concern.

Explosive and efficient, Tuten averages 5.7 touches, 4.6 PPR points per game, 0.92 points per touch, and 4.16 yards created per touch.

Etienne’s contract expires after 2025, Bigsby is gone, and the Jags have an easy closing schedule.

Liam Coen’s offense made Bucky Irving a star — Tuten could be next. If Etienne fades again late, Tuten becomes a top-15 RB once he grabs the lead job. Prime stash in redraft.

Johnson averages just 3.7 touches per game, 0.9 PPR points per game, 0.24 points per touch, and 1.21 yards created per touch, but it’s a pure waiting game.

Jaylen Warren is under contract through 2027, but his dead cap drops to $2M that year making him a possible cut candidate. Johnson’s power and ability to wear down defenses fit perfectly in the Steeler system. If Warren walks, it could be Johnson’s backfield in 2027. For 2026 we’re likely to see a more even split between Warren and Johnson.

I just traded Aaron Jones + a mid-3rd for him — a steal for patient rebuilders.

Croskey-Merritt sees around 11.5 touches per game and roughly 9 PPR points per game, but his ceiling is capped.

Jayden Daniels’ rushing TDs and a low-volume scheme limit his upside. He’s 24 years-old and projects as a flex at best this year with a high likelihood of being replaced in 2026.

Smith is the explosive sleeper of the class.

He averages 5.4 touches, 4.2 PPR points per game, but leads all RBs with 5.81 yards created per touch. Next best is 4.16 yards created per touch.

Pacheco and Hunt are free agents after 2025, and KC never spend big at the RB position. Mahomes, Worthy, and Rice all create loads of space in their offense making plenty of room for their RBs to reap the rewards.

Smith could emerge as a future top-20 fantasy RB built on efficiency at the ripe age of 22 years-old.

Marks sits in a 50/50 split with Chubb all while Mixon is out. He averages 10.7 touches, 9.8 PPR points per game, 0.91 points per touch, and 3.75 yards created per touch.

The Texans’ O-line is weak, their run rate is low, and the team is likely to move on from him in 2026. He’s a temporary flex for now, not a long-term play at all. There is no reason to think he has a starting future in the league, not based on his current situation, nor his talent.

I sold him for a 2nd and 3rd in a league where I added him for a few FAAB right after the rookie draft ended.
