About Mike

I started playing fantasy football in 2006 thanks to a suggestion from my father.

As an avid and life long Eagles fan, I quickly learned my mistake from drafting too many players from only one team. About a decade later, I wanted more from fantasy football and took a dip into dynasty. A few years after that, I started my content creation journey and began writing articles for Dynasty Nerds, oddly enough as an IDP writer. Frustrated with how long it could take to get an article published, I decided to branch out into audio! The Dynasty Rewind was born, with our first episode published in May of 2019.

When not creating content, I enjoy reading, photography, spending time with my beautiful wife and daughter, and fishing. I also have an affinity for trains (ask Nate – he will tell you all about it).

Creator Spotlight

If I could give one piece of advice to dynasty players (new or not) it’s to remain fluid with your takes. My fives above are going to change throughout the offseason, I adjust to the combine, free agency, the draft, practice reports, and the preseason. The NFL tells us how to feel about these guys. It’s our job to translate that into accurate dynasty analysis. I’m really proud of the work we do at the Rewind as a result. You’re going to get daily updates from us and we’ll shift based on the reports and film we study religiously.

Jerry Jeudy

WR, Cleveland Browns

Jeudy was on a rollercoaster of value in 2024, looking like an outcast from Denver and entering an abysmal situation in Cleveland. Thanks to Jameis Winston, Jeudy enjoyed a career year. I think the assumption is that this was a fluke, but I’d take advantage of a league member fearing the worst in Cleveland. My money is still on Joe Flacco winning the job and peppering Jeudy with targets.

Breece Hall

RB, New York Jets

Hall dropped in value a bit due to the Jets’ incompetence. With new leadership at Head Coach (Glenn) and a QB change, the breath of fresh air and reliance the Jets will need may give him plenty of volume in ’25. Seems like you can trade any top 6 pick for him right now, and I’d add a bit to make that happen, too.

C.J. Stroud

QB, Houston Texans

Stroud suffered a sophomore slump, but that wasn’t without injuries and poor offensive line play involved. He peaked at dynasty QB3 this time last year (too high) and now is down at QB12. I’ll bet on that meeting in the middle as he still gets to throw to a great cast. In a weak rookie class, flip a 1st with another player on top and buy the dip!
